What to know: Hot, humid stretch into weekend for Omaha area

While seasonable temperatures are in the forecast through the middle of the week, another stretch of hot and humid weather isn't far off.

Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday impact weather days with the potential for triple digit heat index values.

Starting Friday, expect high temperatures to climb into the low to mid 90s. With the humidity, there could be several hours with feels like temperatures before 100 and 110 degrees.

As of Wednesday morning, there is a chance for spotty storms Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It's too early to determine the chance for any severe activity.
