Lynchburg Republicans welcomed John Reid, the GOP candidate for lieutenant governor, on Monday as he made several campaign stops across the Hill City.

Reid, who left his job as a top-rated Richmond talk show host in January to run for lieutenant governor , started off the day at the Texas Inn, where he served as the guest host of the “John Fredericks Radio Show,” a conservative talk show broadcast on stations across Virginia and in Pennsylvania and Georgia.

His day also included a visit to the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance and ended with a meet-and-greet organized by the Lynchburg Republican City Committee in a large event space at the office of DWELL Real Estate Services on Wiggington Road.
