In Dodgers minor league action on Tuesday, it was somewhat of an uneventful day as none of the top-30 Dodger prospects had a particularly memorable performance, though the affiliates split their games.

You would think by now, teams trading with the Dodgers would be, let’s say, cautious. Andrew Friedman consistently proves that he has a knack for finding hidden talent. Picking up Adam Serwinowski and Paul Gervase for a 28-year-old catcher who wasn’t a top 30-ranked prospect seems unfair. And the Dodgers got an additional throw-in piece in catcher Ben Rortvedt to replace Feduccia. Serwinowski was immediately ranked the Dodgers’ third-best pitching prospect by MLB Pipeline and has started his Dodger career with two stellar performances. Which leaves us with Gervase.
