CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - What began as separate shooting investigations evolved into a double homicide case as detectives linked two victims in Clarksville to the same location.

The Clarksville Police Department announced the investigation into the two shootings on Tuesday night and reported that the calls occurred within minutes of each other.

The first shooting call took officers to Mizu Japanese Cuisine at 1525 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard around 7:30 p.m.

Officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. They rendered care to the man before he was transported to Tennova Healthcare, where he later died, according to Clarksville PD.
