(WHTM) — Three Philadelphia men have been arrested in connection with a June robbery where $2 million was stolen from an armored car in Philadelphia.

The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, said that a Brink's armored car driver was heading near a Home Depot in the 2500 block of Castor Avenue in Philadelphia on June 21, 2025, at 8 a.m. The driver was walking down an alley behind the Home Depot when three men with AR-style rifles approached him from behind, forced him to the ground, disarmed him, and took his keys.

The Attorney's Office said one of the assailants stayed with the driver while the others entered the vehicle and stole the money. The men then fled the scene in a black Hyundai Sonata with temporary Virginia license plates. A third man followed in a silver
