Prince Andrew is facing a fresh blow after a new survey indicated public support for stripping him of his remaining titles.

According to research from YouGov, two thirds of Britons believe titles handed to the Duke of York should be removed.

The new poll found that 67 per ccent of the public would back the removal of Andrew's dukedom, along with his princely title.

It also suggested that just 13 per cent opposed the removal of his titles, while 21 per cent were unsure.

It comes following an unflattering biography by Andrew Lownie which this month delved into his private life.

Andrew has found himself at the centre of scandals in recent years, including his former friendship with disgraced Jeffrey Epstein.
