YORK COUNTY, S.C. —

A FedEx driver in South Carolina has been arrested and charged after stealing lottery scratch-off tickets from his delivery truck and trying to cash them in for winnings, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).

SLED says on June 27, Marvin N. Mann Jr., 33, visited a Circle K convenience store in York County, where he tried to redeem a quantity of stolen scratch-off lottery tickets.

According to SLED, Mann unlawfully got the tickets while driving them on a FedEx delivery truck to a retailer.

Mann was charged with intent to defraud, counterfeit game tickets on Aug. 7, SLED says.

Mann Jr. was booked into the York County Detention Center.
