ALLEN PARK, Michigan — Both of the Miami Dolphins’ top wide receivers dealing with minor injuries in the middle of training camp and the preseason are expected to participate in the team’s joint practice with the Detroit Lions on Wednesday.
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said “you’ll see both of them out there” ahead of the joint session at Meijer Performance Center.
“As they’re day-to-day, you’ll see Waddle, for sure,” McDaniel said. “You’ll see Tyreek out there. We’re just very much monitoring him so we can protect him against himself.”
Hill has been recovering from an oblique ailment that kept him off the practice field against the Chicago Bears last week and then sidelined in the preseason opener last Sunday at Soldier Field.
