HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Kearney Bearcats are coming off a 10-2 season which saw them make the Class A semi-finals.
They graduated their starting quarterback, and leading rusher, Griffin Novacek among others. Despite that, the Bearcats are looking to lean on the returners they have while developing the younger players.
“Success breeds success, and I think those guys coming back for our team this year has the opportunity to go against some pretty good players the last couple of years,” said Head Coach Brandon Cool.
Kearney opens up the new year with a trip to North Platte on Friday, Aug. 28 at 7:00 p.m.
