GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Kindergarten students at Wasmer Elementary School came back to school in style Wednesday morning.
Students got to walk through a rainbow arch, while hearing some guitar music from one of the staff member. They then got to grab their name tags and some breakfast before heading to class.
Principal Hannah Luber said making a good first impression on the first day of school is important to staff at the Wasmer Elementary.
“This is our one chance that we can create that excitement and just give hope to our kids that it will be a great year and it’s not just today, but we can do that every day going forward,” Luber said.
