DONIPHAN, Neb. (KSNB) - The Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals are looking to build on a successful 2024 season even if it ended with disappointment.
The Cardinals closed their regular season with a loss to Wood River, then fell to the Eagles again the following week in the first round of the Class C2 playoffs.
As preseason training gets underway, head coach Jordan Conner said the team has been putting in the work to improve from last year.
“We were able to meet the goals in terms of attendance, we were able to meet the strength goals that we wanted to over the course of the summer, and that’s really put us in a position now where we can just focus on football,” Conner said. “Gotta continue to build more depth you can never have enough depth in Class C2.
