Shawano police investigate suspicious death on Mountain Bay Trail

SHAWANO, Wis. (WBAY) - The Shawano Police Department is investigating a man’s death on the Mountain Bay Trail.

Just before 7 a.m. Wednesday, police were told that a man was unresponsive on the side of the trail on the east side of Shawano.

The man was dead when officers arrived.

Police are only saying he was 43 years old. They’re investigating the death as suspicious, but they say there’s no known threat to the public.
