Teen charged with trying to kill mother with hedge trimmer

SUAMICO, Wis. (WBAY) - A Suamico teenager is charged with trying to kill his mother with a hedge trimmer last month.

Ramone Waupoose, 16, is charged with Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide with Use of a Dangerous Weapon and First-Degree Reckless Injury with Use of a Dangerous Weapon.

According to a criminal complaint filed last Friday, Brown County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported incident in the early morning hours of July 16 at Waupoose’s home in Suamico. The complaint said Waupoose’s mother told deputies her son had attacked her with a hedge trimmer.
