New England’s largest and longest-running Renaissance festival will be held in a new location this year.

The 44th annual King Richard’s Faire will open at an all-new site in Carver on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Formerly held at 235 Main St., this year’s faire will be held at 5 Pine St. on the grounds of Edaville Family Theme Park, which has been reimagined as Edaville Entertainment Venue.

The faire’s new home is said to have enhanced accessibility, scenic cranberry bogs and a mirrored pond. While King Richard’s Faire is switching locations, visitors can still expect the same lineup of immersive and magical celebrations.
