WARREN A Girard man who pled guilty in June to choking a 12-year-old boy has learned his fate.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 39-year-old Marquis Lee was handed an indefinite prison term of five to seven-and-a-half years on a second-degree felony charge of endangering children and a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
The charges stem from an incident in December of 2024 when Lee choked a 12-year-old boy until he lost consciousness.
Prosecutors say the boy was unconscious for five minutes before he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
