NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- A bounce headed in the right direction -- and better than Travis Kelce and 50 Cent.
That’s how North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones described her recent first-pitch experience at an Aug. 1 Cleveland Guardians game.
“It went fine,” she said. “It bounced before it got to the catcher, but it was a line drive right to him, so I’m feeling good.
“Next time, if I do it again, I’ll have a year to improve my pitch.”
The fun time came during North Olmsted Day at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario with residents andfamilies sitting in the bleachers.
