ATLANTA, Ga. - The fatal shooting of Atlanta-based rapper T-Hood may have been an act of self-defense, according to Gwinnett County police.

Police on Tuesday said a man may have shot the 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Tevin Hood, to protect himself and a woman at a home in the 3900 block of Lee Road in unincorporated Snellville on Friday night.

CDC employees speak out about deadly shooting on campus

On the sidewalk outside the CDC in Atlanta, there are frightened employees and a growing memorial of flowers for fallen officer David Rose.

Police said the shooter remained at the home at the time of the incident, and both he and witnesses continue to cooperate with investigators.
