ATLANTA, Ga. - A recent 911 incident call log is shedding light on the suspected shooter during Friday’s deadly incident near the CDC and Emory University.

A Cobb County 911 call log shows that 11 calls between June 2024 and August of this year were made to Patrick Joseph White‘s home on Windchime Way in Kennesaw.

Health care workers and gun safety advocates are pushing for tougher gun laws in the wake of Friday’s shooting near the CDC headquarters.

White killed himself after the shooting from the CVS at Emory Point, a mixed-use development surrounded by Emory’s campus, at around 4:50 p.m. on Friday, which is also near the CDC.
