AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Aiken County deputies busted a chop shop this week, recovering high-end stolen Dodge Chargers and components.

The items had been stolen in jurisdictions throughout the CSRA, according to deputies.

Man hospitalized after house fire on Gentry Lane in North Augusta

According to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety, officers responded to a house fire on the 500 block of Gentry Lane at 11 a.m.

The raid took place Monday after the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office linked a stolen vehicle to a location in the 900 block of Dougherty Road in Aiken.

Aiken County deputies said they checked out the location and found it was a chop shop.

Numerous deputies were at the location for much of the day, according to witnesses.
