NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man is hospitalized after a house fire in North Augusta on Wednesday.

According to the North Augusta Department of Public Safety, officers responded to a house fire on the 500 block of Gentry Lane at 11 a.m.

Officers say the house was about three-fourths involved when crews arrived on scene.

Flames were seen coming through the roof, according to officers.

Officers say a man was seen coming from a carport door, suffering from burns.

Woman arrested after leading deputies on multi-county chase

A woman has been arrested after a police crash in Richmond County, according to deputies.

Officers began assisting the man until Aiken County EMS arrived on scene.
