A Long Island woman was arrested for allegedly hitting a 14-year-old girl multiple times with a metal water bottle, authorities said Tuesday.

Toni Monroe was arrested outside Brentwood High School shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday and charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child, a Suffolk County Police spokesperson confirmed to the Daily News.

The incident unfolded as Monroe’s 15-year-old daughter got into an altercation with the victim, authorities said.

The two girls were allegedly “exchanging words” when Monroe, 35, struck the 14-year-old with the water bottle.

The confrontation was broken up by a security guard, who detained Monroe in the school’s parking lot a short time later.
