A 45-year-old man from Cornwall is facing seven charges after police responded to a robbery call on Tuesday.

Police alleged the man went to a convenience store on Second Street West, selected a beverage, refused to pay for it, and got into an altercation where it’s alleged had a brass knuckle. When located by police, officers alleged the man was in possession of several edged weapons, a straight razor, and a quantity of methamphetamine.

The man was charged with robbery with a weapon; carrying a concealed weapon; possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; possession of a prohibited device or ammunition; possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine; and, two counts of breaching a release order for possessing a weapon and possessing knives.
