Police are hunting a man who exposed himself while carrying a camera in the grounds of a National Trust for Scotland country mansion.

On Wednesday, August 13 at around 1.15pm, a man was spotted exposing himself in the grounds of a Haddo House in Methlick near Ellon.

Haddo House , designed in 1732, is one of Scotland’s grandest Palladian-style country mansions, which was built for entertaining - regularly playing host to royalty and dignitaries across the centuries.

The man , who was carrying a camera, is described as being white, in his 50s, of heavy build, with grey receding hair and wearing a black t-shirt.

Police Scotland have increased patrols in the area as they carry out extensive enquiries . Article continues below
