QB Shedeur Sanders injured his oblique throwing early in drills in the joint practice against the Eagles on Wednesday, and was held out for the remainder of the practice. He remained on the field throughout practice, watching as the Browns ran through 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills against the Eagles.

Sanders is coming off earning his first NFL start in preseason Week 1, in which he completed 14 of 23 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns against the Panthers.

The Browns have dealt with injuries across the quarterback room through training camp, as QB Kenny Pickett sustained a hamstring injury on July 26 and missed the next three practices.
