CLEVELAND, Ohio - When a high school running back reaches 1,000 yards for a season, you call him a good player. When he does that as just a sophomore, you call him a potentially great college recruit.

When he dominates as a running back on offense, is able to catch passes and return kick offs, and can defend opposing offenses as a free safety, you call him Caden Waye, a four-star running back at Ola High School in McDonough, Georgia, who received an offer from Ohio State on May 5.

Waye is the No. 11 running back and the No. 140 player in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
