An unhinged man shot his neighbor with a crossbow in Brooklyn early Wednesday morning, cops said.

Joseph English, 64, allegedly marched up to the victim in the dark at around 4:40 a.m. outside their building on Hanson Place in Fort Greene and threatened him, police and sources said.

“I’m going to shoot you,” English coolly warned before firing an arrow at at the 54-year-old man, according to the police sources.

The shooting happened outside this Fort Greene apartment building where both the suspect and the victim lived, cops said. Google Maps

Both men told cops they live at 67 Hanson place but the men did not know each other prior to the shooting, according to police. Google Maps

The victim was hit in the left hip.

He was treated at the scene for minor injuries, a police spokespers
