AT&T agreed to a $177 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit regarding two data breaches last year. Customers who believe their data was targeted in the company’s March or July 2024 breach could be eligible for up to $7,500 in claims, which must be filed by Nov. 18, 2025.

The Dallas-based telecommunications company announced two separate private consumer data breaches in 2024 — one on March 30 and another on July 12. Customers’ names, email and home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, account passcodes, and billing numbers may have been released to the dark web during the March breach, according to the settlement .
