A Kansas woman with a history of drunk driving allegedly drank alcohol at a bar, got behind the wheel of a car without an ignition interlock device — ignoring terms of her probation — and slammed head-on into a car, killing a woman and seriously injuring her husband.
Kayla Errebo, 32, stands accused of second-degree murder , aggravated battery and reckless driving, among other charges, in the death of 55-year-old Deanna June Sommerfeld. The crash happened when Errebo allegedly crossed the center line and crashed into Sommerfeld's vehicle early Friday on State Road 140 in Saline County, located in the middle of the Sunflower State.
