SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - For a new recruit with the Springfield Police Department, finding a new career in law enforcement has been something she has always felt was pulling her towards.
Nelson Mandela once said, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.”
Finding a way to teach her children life lessons in a new role is just an important as that courage it took to start a new job.
“One of the things that I have always wanted to show my kids is that what you do when no one is watching is more important than when everyone is watching, and trying to build a really strong sense of integrity and honor with them.
