The federal government will try a second time to convict Doris Aleman-Bonilla, a woman from Honduras who was charged with an immigration-related felony after she was stopped for speeding in Oswego County.

A jury in July failed to reach consensus and Judge Elizabeth Coombe declared a mistrial in the first illegal re-entry case to go to trial in the Northern District of New York during President Donald Trump’s second term.
