While they won’t be reuniting any time soon, it appears Daryl Hall and John Oates have at least resolved their legal battles.

As you may or may not remember, Hall sued Oates back in 2023, after his longtime partner attempted to sell his stake in their company, Whole Oats Enterprises, to Prmary Wave, a music-catalog marketing firm.

The sale would have included the band’s name, likeness rights and royalties, according to the Associated Press.

In the suit, Hall accused Oates of blindsiding and betraying him. Oates replied in his own filings that he was “deeply hurt” by what he considered to be Hall’s “inflammatory, outlandish and inaccurate statements.”
