Thursday night, Glenmoore Eagle played its first game in the United States winner’s bracket against Midwest representative Sioux Falls.
Glenmoore scored 21 runs in the regional tournament, but the bats were quiet Thursday night as Sioux Falls defeated the Southern Pa. based squad 2-0.
Thanks to a two-out rally courtesy of three straight hits from Devin Aukes, Camden Tycz and Kenson Henderson, Sioux Falls jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
Offense was hard to come by for Glenmoore as Sioux Falls pitcher Maxen Snoozy tossed a complete-game, 11-strikeout shutout.
