GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Town Common comes alive this month with “Fridays on the Common,” a free series taking place every Friday in August.

“Fridays on the Common,” designed for both residents and visitors alike, kicked off on Aug. 1 with a family karaoke dance party. On Aug. 8, the Common was filled with classic games, from Twister to Jenga.

Upcoming “Fridays on the Common” events include a family bingo night on Aug. 15, starting at 6:30 p.m., and a bike, stroller and wagon parade on Aug. 22. Those that wish to participate in the parade should meet at the Town Common at 6 p.m. The parade will arrive at Energy Park at 6:30 p.m. for judging and prizes. The theme for the parade is “Prehistoric Days,” but all are welcome to participate.
