NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A second man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left a man dead in Newport News earlier this year .

According to court documents, Newport News Police received calls to a gas station convenience store on the night of May 17. When police arrived, they found 32-year-old Dreshaun Pruden lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including a shot to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The court documents stated that surveillance video showed two men at the store watching as Pruden went inside. The two men reportedly left, got in their car, and after a moment got back out before walking into the store, where one of the men lunged at Pruden. As Pruden backed away, both of the men pulled out guns.
