COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The historic Pruyn House in Colonie is preparing for its annual Old Fashioned Sunday on September 7. Marking the 41st anniversary of the event, Pruyn House staff and local officials will celebrate the town's heritage.

From noon to 4 p.m., rain or shine, the Pruyn House will offer tours, activities, and live music from two local bands. From craft demonstrations in a one-room schoolhouse to vendors in the Buhrmaster Barn, there's something for the entire family to enjoy.

For children, the festivities include pony rides, baby animals, a magician, face painting, and even a visit from a wizard. When it comes to food, the Kiwanis Club of Latham/Greater Colonie will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers in addition to pizza from Joe’s Dough-2-Go.
