NEOSHO, Mo. — About 45 residents filled Neosho’s Municipal Auditorium Tuesday with water on their minds. They were there to discuss the Neosho City Council’s proposed sale of the city’s water and wastewater systems to Missouri American Water, a private water company.

Members of the council and representatives of Missouri American were on hand to take questions and discuss why they believe it's in the best interest of the city to sell the system. ×
