Educators from across the county gathered in the VFW Ballroom in Nogales last Friday evening to celebrate the 18th Teacher of the Year ceremony, recognizing teachers from 22 local schools.

Patagonia High School’s Journee Hayes won the top recognition of Santa Cruz County Teacher of the Year, while Anna Coleman of Elgin School won runner-up. ×
