CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A local school district’s board of education has approved placing a bond issue on the ballot during November’s general election to fund three new schools and improve facilities.
The Oak Hills Local School District Board of Education approved a two-phase plan to build two new schools and replace two of the oldest buildings, according to a news release from the district.
The goal of the first phase is to fund two new schools, Springmyer Elementary and Delhi Middle School, and allow for the installation of air conditioning at Oak Hill High School.
District officials also state they plan to explore the possibility of bringing air conditioning to Bridgetown Middle School, depending on available funding.
