LOUISVILLE, Ky. — GE Appliances announced a major investment in U.S. manufacturing, that started with an investment in Louisville, Kentucky.

Gov. Andy Beshear will join state officials, as well as leadership from GE Appliances Wednesday morning as the company celebrates a new $3 billion investment in its U.S. manufacturing operations over the next five years.

In June, GE Appliances announced a $490 million investment into Louisville's Appliance Park. This is being called the cornerstone of the larger, national investment.
