The Mets lost all of the games encompassed by this meter (yesterday’s game is not included here, keep in mind), so this week’s meters are not going to be pretty. The offense struggled mightily last week, but the Mets still lost a couple of backbreaking 7-6 contests in which they theoretically scored enough runs to win, but still ultimately found new and creative ways to lose. The core of their offensive struggles can be chalked up to the fact that two of their four best hitters are mired in deep, deep slumps, but there is certainly blame to go around here.
