TAMPA, Fla, (WFLA) — At just 17 years old, Isis Mack is tackling disparities in healthcare through her own grassroots health justice initiative, V.O.I.C.E.S.

Isis created V.O.I.C.E.S., a health justice initiative committed to uplifting underserved communities, in June after participating in the Youth Action Fund. The acronym represents: vision, organize, inspire, care, empower and sustain.

"When it comes to me organizing at such a young age, I want to be one of the trailblazers to let other young people know you can make this impact at a young age and you will be supported by other organizations," Mack said.

The Youth Action Fund provides tools and coaching for youth organizers looking to make a difference. They even provide funding to help make young organizers' mission work possible.
