CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Clarksville Police Department have identified the two men killed in a shootout on Tuesday night.

CPD reports that 18-year-old Noah William Peterson and 24-year-old Makhi Charon Richardson, both of Clarksville, were killed in a shootout at Mizu Japanese Cuisine on Tuesday night.

Investigation into the shooting shows that the incident started as a planned meeting between two groups. That meeting later escalated to a shootout, where one person from each group (Peterson and Richardson) was hit and killed by gunfire.

CPD said the shooting was an isolated incident.
