A third transaction proved to be around the corner for Deneric Prince.
The running back officially reverted to the New England Patriots’ injured reserve on Wednesday after going through waivers unclaimed.
Barring an injury settlement at a later date, the move ends Prince’s availability for the 2025 NFL season in August. The 25-year-old had been waived with the injury designation the afternoon prior and no longer counts against the 91-man roster.
Prince, who signed in Foxborough on Sunday, did not participate on Monday before the team traveled for joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings at the TCO Performance Center.
