ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A former youth pastor in Maryland was arrested in Georgia for the alleged sexual abuse of at least six minors nearly two decades ago, according to police.
Thomas Pinkerton, 52, who now resides in Winder, Georgia, was arrested by the Baltimore County Police Department on multiple sexual offense charges stemming from abuse that occurred between 2006 and 2010, the police department said.
During that time, Pinkerton worked at Central Christian Church in Baltimore. Detectives said he’s accused of abusing the victims at the church and at his Baltimore-area home.
According to charging documents, seven men came forward to to report that Pinkerton allegedly abused them when they were under 18.
