PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Gunfire in a South Peoria neighborhood left a 30-year-old man hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to Peoria Police.
A department spokesperson said police received a Shot Spotter alert of 12 rounds fired about 9:45 p.m. in the 2100 block of West Antoinette Street, near South Madison Park Terrace.
The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, said police. He was reportedly hit while sitting outside a home in the area.
Police searched the area including a police drone, but a suspect was not found;
