Wegmans Food Markets is recalling some of its cheese products after learning that it could be contaminated with the bacteria listeria monocytogenes.

The company is recalling its Wegmans Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese and various other products that contain this ingredient, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced.

The products were sold in several Wegmans stores between July 1 and Aug. 12, including in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

The affected items, which all have the best by dates July 26, Aug. 12 and Aug. 19, are:

Wegmans Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese, 8.8-ounce with the UPC 77890-53515

Wegmans Assorted Cheese Flight, 1-pound with the UPC 2-77100-00000-0
