All of Scottie Scheffler’s 17 PGA Tour wins, including his four major championships, have come with Ted Scott carrying his bag.

If Scheffler wants to pick up win No. 18 in Baltimore, he’ll have to do it without his regular caddie. Scott, who took over as Scheffler’s full-time caddie in late 2021, will miss the BMW Championship as he attends to a personal matter.

“It’s significant,” former PGA Tour caddie Brian Mull told The Baltimore Sun about Scott’s absence. “Scottie has not performed particularly well in the few times that Ted’s not been available the last couple of years.”
