A school bus crashed Wednesday afternoon in Leander, Texas, authorities told Fox 7 in Austin.

The Leander Independent School District (ISD) bus was carrying 43 people, and 16 were reportedly injured, according to the television station.

Abigail Valez of CBS Austin posted on X around 6 p.m. ET, "UPDATE: Leander ISD says several students are injured. Officials say 15 people were transported for injuries via EMS helicopter. The rest are en route to a reunification center."
