BUTLER, Mo. (KCTV) - The Butler City Administrator has been charged with sexual abuse after what he described as a drunken groping incident.

Bates County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Aug. 13, indicate that Corey N. Snead, 48, of Butler, has been charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse.

A probable cause statement filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol revealed that in April, the Butler Police Department requested State Troopers investigate an incident that happened at The Alley Tavern.

Specifically, MSHP said it was requested to investigate the incident due to a “conflicting working relationship with the victim and suspect.”
