CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Ag Progress Days are underway in Centre County, an annual event that draws praise for farmers, with plenty of politicking.

In Centre County Wednesday, lawmakers and agriculture leaders from across Pennsylvania joined for the annual Legislative Luncheon at Ag Progress Days. Governor Josh Shapiro spoke about the advancements being made in agriculture but he also talked about challenges like tariffs, rising prices, and workforce issues.

"Blending the wisdom of the past with the technology of tomorrow. A promise that we will grow not just crops, but communities. And not just profits, but people. But not just yields, but opportunity," Russell Redding said during the event.
